Powers of unimaginable scale flung around like it's dodgeball. In this world, chaos is both the ruler and the slave. The stronger survive and the weaker scramble to be better. In this world, even the most bizarre of powers can become something great.Where would you stand in all of that? Would you be like a particle of water in an endless ocean of waves and tsunamis? Would you be a bystander in a world of wonders and horrors? Would you wish to become something significant, to be counted among the strong and powerful? Would you accept being weak and powerless?Welcome to The World; an Earth-like planet that has a similar culture but different geography and people. This world has been called by many names; a dystopia. a paradise. The most accepted one is; The World. Obviously, everyone here is bad at naming something great. In The World, heroes and villains roam around and fight each other to gain power, fame, glory, and wealth. An endless cycle of fighting repeats itself moment to moment. Villains cause mayhem, heroes are implored by the people to help. These battles shape The World. Heroes usually win because they are ‘righteous’ and ‘on the right side.’ Sprinkle in some monsters, entities, and maybe some god-like beings, and you have The World, which despite or because of all the fighting going on is still dynamically alive."***"The city we live in is always in danger.
