The crank on the side turns the turntable, and the needle can be moved across the turntable-just like the real antique. Measuring 1 1/4" by 1 1/4" at the base, and a horn diameter of 1 7/8", the gramophone is accurately scaled to the 15" by 15" base, 22 1/2" horn diameter models of its time. In addition to its period accuracy, the side of the gramophone houses a fully functional pencil sharpener, making this miniature a great desk companion or a unique addition to a pencil sharpener collection.
