About Medigauge 900105 Dual-Scale Electronic Digital

This is a digital goniometer designed by therapists for therapists. This version of the Medigauge goniometer contains both digital and analog degree scales. It allows highly accurate, repeatable and reliable joint measurements, and is easier to use. It contains dual 12.5” poly fiber blades with a center line and English and metric graduations. One blade has a 7”/18.5 cm ruler. Transparent poly fiber blades permit easy location of joint axis and unobstructed observation of movement. Latex free hypoallergenic poly fiber blades are easily sanitized after each use. Pressing the “Zero” button sets the display to zero at any point in the arc allowing measurement to start at any point in joint movement. From the “zero” setting it measures 180 degrees in both directions. The LCD display displays continuously as joint movement is measured. With the push of a button, the display can be flipped 180 degrees to allow reading from different vantage points. Degrees are displayed in .1 degree increments (one tenth of a degree). Accuracy guaranteed to be +/- .5 degrees (half of a degree). Care has been taken to print the degree scales as accurately as possible. However, these printed scales are not as accurate as the digital readout. If there is a discrepancy between the two scales, use the reading of the more accurate digital readout. The display contains a “hold” function, so you can retain measurements for later use. It uses a 2032 3V lithium ion battery that will last one year with normal use. Comes with one battery installed. Unit powers down after 2 minutes of non-use. Comes with complete instructions.
