The Starrett F5005BZ-24/600 electronic caliper has a 12" jaw depth, an LCD, and RS232 data output for measuring large work pieces. It has a 0 to 24"/0 to 600mm measuring range with 0.0005"/0.001mm resolution and up to 0.001"/0.02mm accuracy for precise measurements. The 12" jaw depth provides extended range for measuring hard-to-reach spaces. The LCD and function buttons allow on/off, zero-set, hold, inch/mm conversion, and data send. The RS232 data output allows connection to a computer with an optional RS232 cable (sold separately) or an optional Starrett DataSure wireless data collection system using a 1500-3A-1N End Node (sold separately). A knurled clamping screw locks the slide to save a measurement. The hardened stainless-steel frame and slide are durable and corrosion resistant.
