Thermo Scientific Orion 083005MD Dissolved Oxygen Probe, with Calibration Sleeve features polarographic sensing technology for quick readings and comes with a 1.5-meter (5’) cable. Polarographic probes, also called clark cell or ampherometric electrodes, are used in biological oxygen demand (BOD) analysis. This probe also features a screw-on membrane/electrolyte module which helps eliminate the need for regular membrane replacement. A dual thermocompensator corrects for membrane permeability and oxygen solubility. This probe can measure at sample temperatures ranging from 0 to 50 degrees C, and has an oxygen consumption rate of 0.008µg/h (mg/L) -11 at 20 degrees C. It has a maximum allowed overpressure of 6 bar. The probe can be used with Orion Star Meters.
