About RDS Dock Hardware 1-1/2" Circular Clamp On Brace
The 1.5" Circlular Clamp on Brace Bracket should be used on installations where there is deep water (greater than 6'), or if a boat is often moored at the dock, to reduce or eliminate side motion (sway). Four of these brackets are typically used. 1/2" ID (app. 3/4" OD) pipe is attached between two brackets. The complete setup forms an "X" pattern or cross. For extra rigidity, a Brace Clamp is added to the center of the cross. The bracket is 6 inches by 3.5 inches by 1.5 inches and weighs about 1 pounds
