Rolling Barge manufactures aluminum dock, gangway, and bridge kits. These kits are designed to be shipped small and built big. Our floating dock kits are the strongest in the world and built for a lifetime of continuous service. The frames are made from 6061-T6 structural aluminum and the bolts are 2024-T4 anodized aluminum. This combination is ABYC saltwater approved. This kit includes self-drilling self-tapping deck screws, so all you need to provide is the deck and the barrels. 55 gallon polyethylene barrels are the strongest, longest lasting dock float available. Used barrels can usually be found locally at a fraction of the cost of standard rectangular dock floats. Because of the shape of the barrels, Rolling Barge docks can often be left on the lake over the winter without being damaged by the ice (don't try this with rectangular dock floats). This dock kit can be decked with wood boards, synthetic boards (I.E. Trex), or treated plywood. Rolling Barge dock kits are built in 4x4' sections. This modular design allows you to increase the width or length of your dock in the future. Floating walkways as long as 100' and floating platforms as wide as 40' have all been built from these dock kits. Rolling Barge offers a wide range of options for these dock kits. Piling guides, railing, transoms, wheels, trailer hitches, walkways, anchor attachments, and swim ladders are all available to help customize the dock kit to fit your needs. 4' wide "wings" are available that can be hinged to the side of this dock.
