About Rockwell Security Adjustable Dual Point Sliding

Heavy door use puts a constant strain on locks, often resulting in a need for maintenance. The Rockwell Security Surface-Mount Dual Point Sliding Door Lock with Adjustable Inward Hooks can withstand heavy use and resist intruders. This sliding door lock uses a mortise design for durability and adjustable door lock security. The installer inserts a mortise lock into a pocket, otherwise known as the mortise. The mortise lock is difficult for intruders to penetrate because the deadbolt is inside the lock's body. The anti-slam pin also adds extra functionality. It allows you to extend the reach hooks when you have engaged the lock with the keeper to prevent a lockout or damage to the door. The dual point mortise lock uses standard routs. Several types of locks are available, including flush-mount, recessed-mount and surface-mount models. Whatever your sliding door configuration, there's an option for you. The lock also comes with standard dual actuators, independently extendable reach hooks. The dual actuator makes it possible to install the lock at the center or at a particular offset location. The laminated hooks give the lock heavy-duty strength to withstand more than 2,000 pounds of forced entry loads and pulling force. Together, the hooks and keepers make the final adjustment of door lock engagement easier. The hooks have a 1/8-inch adjustment, as do the keeper locations. The Rockwell Security Sliding Door Lock has several key dimensions to follow when planning your installation. The cross hole spacing for the lock is 3 15/16 inches, while the backset is 0.89 inches. The faceplate width is 3/4 inch, and the actuator is center or 3/4 inch offset.
