This work is part of a series exploring the flooding of Irish landscape during winter storms. Images of the flooding spread once per year through our media and are then swiftly forgotten as the waters recede. This work makes use of images from local media and first hand observations of flooding and storms preserved as large drawings. These drawings work to reclaim these striking images and explore their place in our visual language before they recede to memory like the floods themselves.
