About American Educational Aluminum Large Dissecting Pan

The American Educational dissecting pan is for general laboratory use, is made of aluminum, which is lightweight and provides resistance to corrosion and tarnishing. The pan has smooth, rolled edges for safe operation and stacking, and is available with and without wax. The wax is a mixture of black tar and white wax, which produces a black color for contrast with specimens. The pan has a 250 degrees F limit for heating, and should be placed on a hot plate to melt the wax when resurfacing. The product is not dishwasher or microwave safe. The pan measures 13.0 x 7.5 x 1.5 inches (L x W x H), and weighs 2.0 lb. with wax and 0.50 lb. without wax. (L is length, the horizontal distance from left to right; W is width, the horizontal distance from front to back; H is height, the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.)
