This Animate Electronic door has a 7" x 7 1/4" pet opening that provides access for Cats and Small dogs wearing the small magnetic collar tags. This Electro-Magnetic pet door will prevent stray cats from entering your home, but will not prevent pets from exiting through the pet door. The popular 4-way locking mechanism is included to control access in only, out only, completely locked or unlocked. You will want to measure your dog to the shoulders, and select an opening that will be elevated enough to clear the shoulders and yet still be easy for them to step through. This product is available in a dual paned glass option for customers looking for optimal energy efficiency.
