What does a ND Filter do: You want to capure sunset clouds/running water/sport and need a moving impression photo , and software can't help you, so you must need long time to exposure however too much light come to sensor, at this time, you can add Neutral Density filter. You want enough depth of field or enough aperture, however, low ISO and shutter speed and long exposure time can't help you prevent too much light,you can add Neutral Density filter. How to use: When you need 1/2 light to sensor, you can select ND2, ND4 for 1/4 light, ND8 for 1/8, ND16 for 1/16. When you capture, you must a steady tripod to cooperate with long exposure.
