The Coolen 40.5mm UV Protector Filter is a general use, clear filter that helps to safeguard your lens from dust, scratches, moisture, and other elements. It also provides extra security against accidental drops, so you can leave it on a lens at all times. The frame was made from aviation grade aluminum with a matte black finish. The red plating on the outer frame adds elegance. The lens was made from specially selected Schott optical glass. It helps absorb ultraviolet light and reduce the bluish cast of daylight to achieve sharper images and more natural colors. Causing no additional coloration or contrast, it can be paired with others. It comes with a handy little plastic box for storage. This filter is made from materials meeting the requirements of European Union’s standards of environment protection—ROHS (Restrictions on Hazardous Substances). The super fine dull polishing and elaborate knurling prevent the frame from blanching due to repeated rotation. The ultra thin frame helps avoid vignetting on super wide angle lenses.
