2.5” SSD/HDD Docking Station: The Sabrent 5-Bay USB-C Docking Station for 2.5” SATA HDDs and SSDs (DS-5R15) is designed to easily dock from one to five 2.5” drives, each up to 15mm in height. These drives can be used simultaneously and independently over a convenient USB-C connection with the drives kept comfortably cool.

Powered USB-C : The Docking Station can transfer at up to 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2x1) via the included USB-C cable. In order to make sure this connection is stable and reliable, also included is a 12V/3A power adapter with an international plug set for use in the EU and UK. Add more storage without concern of power limitations.

Hot-Swappable, Tool-Free, PnP: We want you to have the easiest experience possible so we have designed this docking station to be hot-swappable, tool-free, and plug & play. Cool And Clear: With up to five drives loaded, sustained operation can produce excessive heat - fortunately, we have built-in active cooling with an 80mm fan. We know you sometimes need things quiet so this fan is switchable, too. LEDs, including individual lights for each bay, will keep you aware of drive, dock, and fan status.

Looking for an easy way to add up to five 2.5” drives to your setup? Break free of the hassles of internal SATA ports and enjoy the convenience of our 5-Bay USB-C Docking Station. Designed for 2.5” SATA HDDs and SSDs, the DS-5R15 allows you to quickly add more storage or to simply dock a drive or two for other projects, like backups or large file transfers, with tool-free, hot-swappable, plug & play functionality. Everything’s conveniently connected over a fast 10Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2x1) cable but not held back by USB power limitations: we’ve included a 12V/3A external power supply for extra stability and reliability. Handling up to five drives can produce excess heat during prolonged operation but we have that covered, too, thanks to active cooling provided by the built-in 80mm fan. If you prefer to keep things quiet, the fan is easily switched off. The status of the fan, individual drive bays, and the docking station itself are clearly indicated by LEDs. This docking station is a great addition for Windows, macOS, and Linux PCs, and can be useful on other devices, too, with slots designed for drives up to 15mm in height for maximum compatibility.
