About ICEasy Lidar Sensor Built-in DTOF LDS Lidar Module

LD06 is mainly composed of laser ranging core, wireless transmission unit, wireless communication unit, Angle measuring unit, motor driving unit and mechanical housing. The LD06 ranging core USES DTOF technology, which is capable of ranging 4500 times per second. During each ranging, LD06 emits an infrared laser forward, and the laser is reflected to the single photon receiving unit after encountering the target object. Thus, the time difference between the laser emitting time and the time received by the single photon receiving unit is the flight time of the light. The flight time combined with the speed of light can be used to calculate the distance. After obtaining the distance data, LD06 will fuse the Angle value measured by the Angle measurement unit to form the point cloud data, and then send the point cloud data to the external interface through wireless communication. At the same time the external interface provides PWM so that the motor drive unit drives the motor. After the speed is acquired by the external control unit, the PID algorithm is used to control the speed to the specified closed loop, thus making LD06 work stably.
