The portable TV receives both VHF and UHF reception through its clever neck strap antenna, dubbed the Straptenna by Sony. The Straptenna's length lets the user carry the TV as a necklace, and to fix spotty reception, the user merely moves the TV to a different orientation. The TV ensures that sporting events or favorite programs are always accessible. The FDL-PT22 includes both volume and brightness controls, and the unit includes a built-in speaker for sound and a mini headphone jack for private listening. In addition, the device measures only 3.6 x 4.4 x 2.6 inches (W x H x D) and weighs 9.9 ounces, making it a compact handheld unit as well.
