The Earthquake Sound PR-HDX2 Compression Horn Driver is an affordable and compact driver with a lightweight and robust phenolic diaphragm for midrange and high-frequency sound reproduction used for both indoor/outdoor settings and small PA systems where midrange and vocal reinforcement may be needed. The PR-HDX2 features a universal screw-on 1-3/8" - 18 TPI horn connection that fits all Earthquake and other favorable horns on the market. The high-temperature wire used for the voice coil is wound on a Kapton polyimide former to withstand high operating temperatures. In addition, the durable phenolic diaphragm structure permits a smooth response and effortless yet cost-effective replacement if a failure occurs.
