Simons' Top 20 Best Albums of 2001. -- The Music Box Online, Jan. 2002 About the Artist Paging Raymond is an Acoustic Rock band from Indianapolis,Indiana. Originally formed by Aaron Adelsperger, Stephen Fields, and Tim Wilsbach, as a studio project, Paging Raymond recorded a six-song demo in 1994. 5 years, and several bands later for all three guys, they got back together in the summer of 1999 for another studio project. The songwriting was strong, and the energy was right, so the three decided to add a bass player, start playing live, and turn their studio project into a full length CD. Since then, Paging Raymond has been playing live whenever and wherever possible to expose their music and to grow their fan base. They now have a small, loyal following that seems to be growing with each live show. Stylistically somewhere between Counting Crows and Barenaked Ladies, Paging Raymond has been called Roots-rock, Americana, Alt-country, Contemporary Rock; but whatever genre you put them in, a wide variety of audiences continue to enjoy their music. Please.Quiet.Recording., the first full length CD from Paging Raymond was released in January of 2001, after almost a year in the studio.
