A beautiful way to filter your aquarium! The Elive AquaDuo power filters is dual purpose filter that gives you the ability to filter your aquarium with a filter cartridge or naturally by Aquaponics. Aquaponics combines aquaculture of fish with hydroponics, growing plants without soil. The fish provide a nutrient source for the plants in the form of their waste and the plant provides a natural filter. The plant is positioned in the main chamber of the filter and is potted in the Hydrocorn BioMedia that is provided with the filter. The Hydrocorn becomes seeded with beneficial bacteria the break down fish waste into less toxic forms usable by the plants. The fish benefit from clean pure water and the plant thrives do to the waste that the fish produce. It’s a simple, natural and extremely effective way to filter your aquarium.
