OMICRON Cellulose Nitrate membrane filter are optimized for use with a variety of sample media and volumes of microbiological applications. They are manufactured using 100% pure nitrocellulose to ensure the highest binding capacity and smoother surface. The surface properties of the CN membrane ensure high signal-to-noise ratios without the need for rigorous washing conditions. They have characteristic hydrophilic, biologically inert, plain, white absolute membrane filter with uniform pore structure, and consistent thickness. Uniform pore structure ensures homogeneous distribution of the particles retained on the filter surface. It offers sterile and non sterile versions of cellulose nitrate membranes, with a variety of diameters and pore sizes (from 0.1 to 8 μm). OMICRON membrane filter is ideal for a wide range of clarification, sterilization and analytical applications such as microbiological analysis, clarification or sterilization of aqueous solutions.
