About Sport Fish Of The Gulf Coast & Florida: Your Way To

Product Description Whether you're fishing on shore, off a dock or in a boat, keep this tabbed booklet close at hand. Based on Dave Bosanko's field guides and featuring 67 of the most popular freshwater and saltwater sport fish caught in or near the Gulf of Mexico, the booklet is organized by fishing location for quick and easy identification. Further narrow your choices by tail shape, and view just a few species at a time. The pocket-sized format is much easier to use than laminated foldouts, and the waterproof and tear-resistant pages help to make the book safe to take anywhere you reel 'em in! About the Author Dave Bosanko was born in Kansas and studied engineering before following his love of nature to degrees in biology and chemistry from Emporia State University. He spent thirty years as staff biologist at two of the University of Minnesota's field stations. Although his training was in mammal physiology, Dave worked on a wide range of research projects ranging from fish, bird and mammal population studies to experiments with biodiversity and prairie restoration. An avid fisherman and naturalist, he has long enjoyed applying the fruits of his extensive field research to patterning fish location and behavior, and observing how these fascinating species interact with one another in the underwater web of life.
