This Eaton Weatherhead Coll-O-Crimp 16U-116 crimp socket makes a straight connection of hydraulic hose to pipe. It is made of low carbon steel for tensile strength and hardness and is zinc-plated for resistance to corrosion. It has a crimp fitting on one end for attaching to hose with a 1" inside diameter (ID) and a 1" rigid male end for connecting to a female threaded pipe. The crimp fitting has a 1.69" cut-off factor for the hose and a sleeve with teeth for forming a tight seal. It is 3.90" in length, with a 13/16" ID and a 1-3/8" hex nut. Pressure and temperature ratings are determined by the maximum working pressure for the hose size and type, as hose failure typically occurs first.
