About Caraway Liquid Extract, Organic Caraway

Caraway (Carum Carvi) is a biennial herb 30–80 cm tall. The root is thick, fleshy, white in color. The stem is hollow, branched, up-straight. The leaves are alternate, oblong. The flowers are small, with a white or pink nimbus, collected in an inflorescence - a complex umbrella with a diameter of 4-8 cm. The fruit is an oblong, slightly flattened seed, 3-5 mm long, when ripe, it splits into two mericarpies. The plant blooms in May - July, bears fruit in July - August.
