About Project Patio 1-1/2" Wrought Iron Patio Furniture

How to install:Items needed - Rubber mallet or rubber hammer. Tape is optional but can be helpful1 - Important. First make sure your foot cup has a inner diameter of 1-1/2"2 - Use whatever tool you can (screwdriver or pliers) to remove the old chair feet.3 - Once the old parts are removed clean the cup area really well. Remove all dirt, debris, rust etc. Use sandpaper if you need. If there is bare metal showing it is a good idea to cover it up with some spray paint.4 - Place your chair or table upside on a piece of cardboard or a towel to prevent scratching.5 - To hit the glides in you will need to use some force since they are friction fit. Use a rubber mallet or rubber hammer. Do not use a normal hammer as this can crack the glide.6 - Place the glide on top of the cup so it centered and level. A piece of tape can be helpful to hold the glide in place if you are having troubles.7 - Once the glide is in place and level strike the glide directly in the middle and down into the cup. Start with a medium strike to get the glide to set in the cup at first and to make sure it is going in level.8 - Once the glide is staying in the cup on its own you can continue to hit it in the rest of the way. You can hit it a little harder if needed.9 - A ridge circling the outside of the plastic foot glide will be shaved off when hammered in assuring a tight fit and securing the glide in place.10 - Relax and enjoy the rest of the day!
