This book traces the history, organization, uniforms and equipment of the Waffen SS between 1939 and 1945. This elite wing of the Nazi party counted nearly one million volunteers from all the countries of Europe. With the full support of the Nazi regime, the Waffen SS fought on all European fronts between 1939 and 1945.
