About Enochian Call Of The Portal: Opening The First
In the following document we have collected the primary texts of the “Call of the Portal”, as they appear in the Opening by Watchtower Ceremony. The Watchtower ritual is often thought to be invented by Israel Regardie, however, its inclusion in the Portal Initiation that was allegedly created by G.H. Frater S∴R∴M∴D∴ (S.L. Mathers) suggests otherwise. As far as most hermeticists seem to be concerned all that truly matters is that the Watchtower ritual is one of the most beautiful and effective done in the G∴D∴ corpus. While in the grade of Portal, Probationary to the Inner Order, Frater C∴N∴ and I compared the extant texts from authors, as well as the one used by the G∴D∴M∴S∴ -- which is similar to Regardie’s version with the exception of one word. We have altered the word spelling and phonetics of the Call’s pronunciation to incorporate Laycock’s guidelines from Dr. John Dee and MacGregor Mathers to maintain a logical phonetic grammar, previously unused. The origin of the Call of the Portal is unconfirmed by us at that time in the year 2000.
