• NEW 5 GALLON BARREL - Brand new, never used small barrel for aging whiskey, bourbon, wine, cider or beer. Medium level char. Size: 5 gallon, Weight: 20 lbs, Dimensions: 10.5 x 10.5 x 14 inches, 1.25 inch bung hole (bung and stand not included)

• BARREL-AGING HOMEBREWED BEERS – Fill with whiskey, bourbon, rum or other spirit and let age for a few weeks. Then, empty and fill with your beer or other homebrew to barrel-age without having to brew a large amount.

• SWELL BEFORE FILLING: New barrels need to be swelled before filling for barrel-aging. Fill with hot water, at least 180 degrees, and let it sit until any leaking stops.
