This black, 55-gallon closed head steel drum is designed, manufactured, and certified to meet UN requirements for hazardous materials under DOT 49 CFR with a minimum UN rating of 1A1/X1.5/250. This 55-gallon barrel is constructed of first-quality cold-rolled steel and supplied with 2 bung type 2-inch and 3/4-inch NPS fittings. The interior boasts a rust inhibitor coating. This barrel can be used for holding liquids and semi-solid materials, as well as HAZMAT materials and waste. This drum can also be used in many DIY projects for home, garden and farm use.
