About Bayer USB Data Cable
The USB Cable from Bayer is a custom made cable that allows users to download data from their meters to a computer. This USB Cable is designed to work with most blood glucose meters from Bayer and Bayer's data management software such as WinGlucofacts and later versions. The USB & Data Cable is used for connecting your computer to your blood glucose meter by Bayer. The driver CD ROM is software that allows the cable to be recognized by your operating system to be able to function properly. Drivers are only required for the USB Cable. The computer will determine if you have the necessary driver or whether you will need a driver.
