About MaxTite Pure Lye Drain Opener Cleaner/Caustic Soda
Highest grade and quality of Pure Lye available (minimum 99%), perfect for cleaning clogged drains, treating water, or making soaps. Also known as Sodium Hydroxide or NaOH, this bead (granular) form is easy to pour and work with, and will sink in water as it dissolves to clear out clogs in drains and pipes. Safe for finishes, fixtures, and trims around drains including chrome. Avoid harsh, environmentally damaging chemical formulations—Pure Lye is an environmentally minded, biodegradable choice without sacrificing power or effectiveness as you make short work of clogged hair, grease, or other accumulated detritus.
