About Mitutoyo 570-248 LCD Absolute Digimatic Height
The Mitutoyo 570-248 LCD Absolute Digimatic height gauge has a measurement range of 0” - 40”/1000 mm, a high-contrast LCD digital readout precise to 0.0005”/0.01 mm, with + or - 0.003”/0.07 mm of accuracy, and data output to transmit results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer for statistical process control (SPC). This height gauge has an electronic microprocessor providing the ability to preset a reference height at any position, as well as set a temporary zero position and return to a true zero reading. The LCD display is selectable to display either inch or metric units. The output port transmits results to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or computer through an interface cable (not included) for statistical process control (SPC). An electrostatic capacitance linear encoder helps prevents overspeed errors to help ensure repeatable, precise measurement. The scriber, used to mark a position on a workpiece, is 25 mm x 47 mm (H x W), carbide-tipped for hardness and to help prolong life, and is held to the gauge by a screw clamp for fastening ease. A calibrated screw mechanism supports fine, uniform slider adjustments. The grip-base helps hold the unit in position by hand. The height gauge weighs 37.04 lbs/16.8 kg.
