About Blackberry Leaf - Rubus L # Herba Organica
Blackberry is a plant native throughout Europe (grows wild), north-west Africa, western and central Asia, and both Americas. Blackberry plant has sweet darkly coloured fruits that grow on bushy vines in small clusters. To make a cup of Blackberry Leaf tea, put 1 headed tsp of Blackberry Leaf and pour 200 ml of boiled water (between 80 to 85 degrees C). Allow it steep for 5 minutes in a covered cup. After this time strain the beverage and drink. As a decoction: Take about a handful of Blackberry Leaf in a quart of water. Boil until half of the water boils off. After this time strain the beverage and drink. You can make a lovely tea blend by mixing Blackberry Leaf with Linden Flowers and Stinging Nettle Leaf.
