This is an update to the 2004 1st edition of this book. A very sizable volume of additional material has been included since that version. The author now has over 15,000 people in his on-line tree, and has used over 35,000 references in the development of this book. In his opinion, he has largely exhausted currently available information. Each line of the tree generally goes back on average to great x 10 grandparent ancestors; sometimes up to great x 14. Some individual ancestry stories have been developed in fairly great detail, and the book contains several fascinating individual stories.The book also includes pedigree charts and lies of descent.
