The BAND-IT C00169 Standard Banding Tool is built for securing, tensioning, and cutting stainless steel bands in industrial, municipal, and utility applications. Designed for 1/4" to 3/4" wide bands (0.015" - 0.030" thick), it is widely used for hose clamping, pole & tower mounting, sign installations, and cable bundling. The C00169 is compatible with 201, 304, and 316 stainless steel bands, galvanized carbon steel bands, and Alloy 400 bands, making it suitable for securing materials in demanding environments. Its built-in cutter allows for precise cuts, eliminating excess material and facilitating a smooth installation process. Constructed with a drop-forged steel frame and a blue epoxy powder-coated finish, this tool is designed for industrial applications where durability is important. How to Use: Prepare the Band – Cut to the required length and insert through the buckle. Wrap Around Object – Position the band securely around the item being fastened. Load the Banding Tool – Insert the free end into the tool’s gripper mechanism. Apply Tension – Turn the spin grip handle until the band reaches the desired tension. Lock the Band – Engage the band’s buckle by flipping the tool’s lever. Cut the Excess – Use the built-in cutter to trim off extra material. Finish Installation – Remove the tool and flatten the lock for a secure fit.
