Please Note: The clamp probe is designed for GENERAL application. It ONLY works with the multimeter which has the function of current signal input. The Current Probe is designed to be used in conjunction with multim- eter for ac current measurements. The current probe clamp EM263 is matching with EM420 series. Specifications: Input: AC 600A Max Frequency Range: 50Hz - 60 Hz Output: 0mV - 600Mv, AC Output Sensitivity: 1mV / 1A Max working voltage: 600V ac rms, CAT III Accuracy: ±(3.0 % rdg + 5d) Operating temperature: 0℃ --50℃ , < 80% RH Storage Temperature: -20℃ -- 60℃, < 85% RH Max Conductor Size: 30mm Max Jaw Opening: 25mm Operating Instruction 1.The input impedance of ac Voltage range of the digital multimeter to be used with the Current Probe must be ≥ 1MΩ, and the multimeter's ac Voltage measurement range to be used must be ≤ 2V ac. 2.Connect the output plugs of Current Probe to the ac voltage input terminals of the multimeter. 3.Set the rotary switch of the multimeter to the desired ac voltage measurement range position, make sure that the selected range is not higher 2V ac for accurate measurement. 4.Press the trigger and clamp the jaws around the conductor to be measured. Release the trigger slowly. Note: 1. Clamp only on conductor. 2. The conductor should be in the center of the jaws and should be perpendicular to the Current Probe. 5.Read the voltage reading of the multimeter. Then calculate the current of the conductor by using the formula: I= Reading / 1mV/ A (In this formula, I is the current of the conductor, Reading the voltage reading of the multimeter.) Please Note:The clamp probe is designed for GENERAL application. It ONLY works with the multimeter which has the function of current signal input.
