The larger (outer) savarin silicone mold and smaller (inner) savarin silicone mold are each sold as separate items but meant to work as a set, the larger overlapping the smaller by being greater in diameter and height and having a smaller hole (less empty space meaning more ice cream / cake). That allows you to freeze the smaller savarin (volume 18 oz / 532ml), then place it into the unfrozen batter or cream of the larger savarin (volume 33.2 oz / 981ml), then freeze the two together for a single savarin dessert with a shell and a core. If you used cream, you now have an ice cream dessert and are done. In the case of batter, only 1 more step awaits--placing the frozen double-layer savarin, in the larger savarin mold, into the oven to bake a 2-layer savarin cake. Smaller savarin diameter 6-1/4 inch (160mm), larger savarin diameter 7-1/16 inch (180mm).
