About La Crosse Technology 513-1417AL-INT Atomic Clock W

Stylish atomic digital clock is packed with many features and offers modern look to add to your living room or kitchen. Outdoor temperature display receives wireless data from weather-resistant transmitting sensor within a 300 ft (91 M) range, down to -40 F. Large, 2 inch tall time digits set automatically to your time zone selection and adjust to daylight savings, all on an easy to read LCD with calendar display & moon phase. Clock indicates active alarm, WWVB signal, and low/weak battery with adjustable display language. Mount clock onto wall or fold-out leg stand to place on table. Troubleshooting Steps: To Power up: Insert 2-AA batteries into the sensor, then into the clock. Observe the correct polarity. Configure basic settings. Hold the SET button for 3 seconds to enter settings menu. Use the +/- buttons to adjust and SET to confirm. Setting order: 1. Language: English | Español 2. Beep ON | OFF 3. Atomic ON | OFF 4. DST ON | OFF (Daylight Saving Time) 5. Time Zone 6. Hour 7. Minutes 8. Year 9. Month 10. Date 11. Fahrenheit | Celsius Factory Restart: Returns the atomic clock and remote sensor to an “out-of-the-box” default state and often resolves an issue. 1. Remove batteries from remote sensor and atomic clock. 2. Press one of the buttons on the atomic clock at least 20 times to clear all memory. 3. Verify that the atomic clock is blank before proceeding (there may be lines painted on the screen that will show when there is no power). 4. Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important). 5. Insert fresh batteries into the remote sensor, then into the clock. 6. Press the TX button on the remote sensor to transmit RF signal. 7. Keep the remote sensor 5-10 feet from the atomic clock. 8. When RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the clock. Allow the remote sensor and atomic clock to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. 9. Do not press buttons for 15 minutes. Note: For optimum 433MHz transmission, place the remote sensor no more than 330 feet (100 meters, open air) from the atomic clock. Be sure the outdoor sensor is mounted vertically.
