Rue Herb came to southern Europe (Balkans) via northern Africa and the Mediterranean region. It's also known as common rue or herb-of-grace and has been cultivated and used for many centuries for its culinary uses. A tea made from Rue Herb can be used as a beverage and also for external use. Rue Herb tea is prepared by steeping 1 tsp of Rue Herb in 200 ml of boiling water for 5-15 minutes. After this time strain the tea, sweeten with honey to improve the taste and drink.
