About Knowles Wizard Of OZ Scarecrow Collector Plate 1977
Knowles China Limited Edition plate of the Scarecrow from the movie The Wizard of Oz. Painted by James Auckland. The plate is 8½ inches in diameter. Plate Number 18948D. It says "Edition firing schedule strictly limited to one hundred days." So they left it ambiguous as to how many plates were produced. The plate says Copyright 1977 M.G.M. "Not for use with food due to potential toxicity of rare metallic pigments fired into the plate for color fidelity." No scratches, chips or cracks.
