About APEC Water Systems FILTER-SET-CB3-20BB 20" Whole
Enjoy clean, clear, sediment and chlorine free water at every faucet. The three (3) 4. 5"X 20" BB specialty filters effectively treat a variety of water concerns and deliver cleaner & more manageable water for all your water needs. The combo is uniquely designed for versatile use to meet all of your large capacity filtration needs and is suitable for simple whole house filtration, light commercial use or industrial applications with a fast flow rate. The 1st stage sediment filter captures and traps dirt, sand, silt, scale and rust particles down to 30 microns. This durable, polyester filter has a pleated design to maximize dirt-holding capacity and is washable and reusable. The 2nd stage iron filter utilizes high purity manganese dioxide to effectively reduce iron, iron staining and the metallic taste in your water by converting soluble ferrous iron into insoluble ferric iron. The 3rd stage carbon filter is a radial flow granular activated carbon (GAC) cartridge that adsorbs the insoluble ferric iron to effectively treat iron. Lastly, chlorine, odors, taste and organic compounds are removed by the carbon filter to provide chemical-free water to every faucet and water outlet.
