Here is some additional information about the offset lithograph: This poster features one of haring's earlier works and showcases several motifs which would become prominent in his work such as the radiant heart love, cartoon like figures outlined by thick black lines and vibrant lines depicting energy or motion. In this case, the figures are two men, in motion toward each other, beneath the heart, a representation of homosexual love. This is a theme haring would explore much more explicitly throughout his career. The original drawing was done on a 15 square foot white tarp in black and red acrylic.
