This is the "Standard Density" version which is a similar density as what you would buy in a hardware store.. The high density version is tightly wound, it cannot be compressed well and crammed into a smaller area. This version is more flexible "squishable" and pliable. Please don't confuse with the much smaller and common sized 3/8" gaskets typically used on an abundance of residential wood stoves.
