Uses of Hot Water Bottle: -Keep your neck and shoulders warm; -Reduce cramping and muscle spasms by reducing constriction of blood vessels; -Ease cramps through moderate heat applied to the cervical spinal area. Advice & Caution: To rid the bag of any possible rubber smell, rinse the inside and keep in a ventilated room for 3+ days; When filling with hot water, hold the hot water bag upright and slowly fill to only two-thirds full; Do not fill with boiling water which may damage the rubber over time; Avoid prolonged (30+ min.) direct contact with skin when filled with very hot water which may cause scalding/burns; Keep away from children aged under 36 months; Check the stopper periodically for signs of wear and tear; Replace your hot water bag after every two years
