At the risk of turning into pillars of salt, moviegoers in 1962 cast their eyes upon Sodom and Gomorrah as the ancient twin cities of sin sprung to life on the big screen. The lavish score for this biblical epic was composed and conducted by none other than Miklos Rozsa-who'd won an Oscar just a few years earlier for his score to another screen epic, Ben-Hur !
