The main advantage of Valken Energy Nickel Metal Hydride cells are that they have a much longer lifespan than standard lithium polymer cells. Nickel metal hydride cells usually last into the 1,000 cycles range compared to lithium polymer cells, which last on an average of 150-250 cycles. NiMh cells also have a much less sensitive chemistry than Li-po cells lowering the risk of fires that are associated with Li-po batteries.
