About Hamilton W-620-D-3/4 Duralast Polyurethane (95A) On

The Hamilton W-620-D-3/4 Duralast polyurethane (95A) on cast iron wheel measures 2" wide and 6" in diameter, has a 3/4" straight roller bearing to prevent friction, and mounts to a caster fork (sold separately) on a dolly, trailer, or utility cart or another object for movability. The wheel is made of green, liquid-cast polyurethane for wear resistance, quiet operation, and a greater load-bearing capacity than rubber and won't mark floors. It is chemically inert, non-sparking, non-conductive, and impervious to ozone, grease, and most oils and solvents. It has a solid cast iron center for resistance to wear. The wheel has a load capacity of 1,200 lb., weighs 8 lb., and withstands temperatures from -50 to +200 degrees F. The hub length is 2-1/2". Caster wheels are the rolling part of casters, which are wheeled mechanisms used to support and maneuver objects such as carts, racks, and dollies for material handling applications in many industries. Caster wheels may be single or dual (also called twin), and they are made from a variety of materials. Generally, wheels with hard tread material have a higher load capacity and roll easier than soft tread wheels, which provide quieter operation and cushioning. Hamilton Caster manufactures industrial casters, wheels, carts, and trailers. The company, founded in 1907, is headquartered in Hamilton, OH.
