Norton Rapid Strip Discs are the most versatile, long lasting stripping and blending discs available. Constructed from a web of strong, extra course synthetic fibers and quality silicone carbide abrasives that are bonded together by smear-resistant adhesive. Clean, condition, and finish a multitude of materials quick, easy, and with limited loading. Will cut and grind up to eight times longer than conventional stripping and blending discs. Reduce work time from 20 minutes to 4 minutes. No need to change to another disc, can strip coatings and finishes. 4-1/2" X 5/8"-11. Max RPM: 12000. Typical Uses: Remove paint and epoxy coating, surface rust and residue, corrosion, light weld splatter, dirt, mill scale, other surface contaminants. Surface prep before applying coatings. Surface prep before welding; cleaning and conditioning afterwards. Fine finishes.
