About No. 7 Mastic® Premium Air Duct Sealing Kit
RCD Corporation No. 7 Mastic is a water-borne air duct sealant, fully manufactured in the USA, used for permanently sealing the fabricated joints and seams of sheet metal air ducts, rigid fiberglass air ducts, flexible air ducts and thermal insulation. RCD Corporation No. 7 Mastic is a premium grade sealant used for repairing damaged, leaking air ducts and sealing conditioned spaces from air infiltration. Bundled with the other components in our kit, you will have everything you need to tackle improving your home by sealing leaking air ducts. Doing so will save energy, conserve electricity, reduce your carbon footprint, and save you money. No. 7 Mastic is water-borne and elastomeric, with high solids content. It is easy to apply, drys quickly, and can earn LEED Credits. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star program recommends insulating and sealing air ducts. Sealing and insulating air ducts along with home sealing and crawl space sealing will improve indoor air quality, reduce excess humidity and significantly reduce energy costs.
