About SKF YET 210 Ball Bearing Insert, Eccentric

This SKF YET-2 series chrome steel ball bearing insert with contact seals is regreasable and has a zinc-coated eccentric (asymmetric) self-locking collar that fits over one side of the inner ring extension to lock the collar on the shaft. A setscrew further secures the bearing. This locking type is suitable for applications where the shaft rotates in a single direction. The inner ring is extended on one side to provide increased shaft support. When combined with a matching SKF housing (sold separately), the bearing’s convex sphered outer surface helps compensate for moderate initial misalignment errors. Seals consisting of a pressed sheet steel washer with an acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR) sealing lip vulcanized to the inner surface (Superagriseal) on both sides of the bearing keep out contaminants, such as dirt and grime, and hold in lubricant applied at manufacture. This single-row ball bearing insert, made of high-grade carbon-chromium steel for durability and resistance to deformity, supports radial and thrust loads. An injection-molded snap-type cage made of glass fiber reinforced polyamide 66 evenly spaces the balls on the raceways for reduced friction, vibration, and noise. Two holes on the outer ring allow for relubrication of the bearing in place. SKF YET-2 bearings are designed to fit in mounted housing units and are suitable for various industrial applications including mining equipment, fans and blowers, conveyors, and agricultural equipment, among others. Specifications Boundary dimensions and tolerances ISO 9628:1992 Radial internal clearance ISO 9628:1992, CN (normal) Through-hardened steel ISO 683-17 Cage temperature 120 degrees C (maximum) Seal temperature –30 to 100 degrees C (120 degrees C for brief periods) Rolling bearings use rolling elements to maintain the separation between moving parts to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. These elements can be one of the following types: ball, cylindrical, spherical, barrel, needle, spindle, or tapered. All rolling bearings are open, shielded, or sealed. Sealed bearings are lubricated with oil or grease in the bearing factory, while open and shielded bearings are meant to be lubricated in place, with periodic reapplication of lubrication, based on use. The shield protects the working parts of the bearing from environmental debris that may be introduced and could reduce the ball bearing speed and lifespan. Rolling bearings are used in a range of applications from agricultural machinery to conveying equipment, robotics, dental equipment, elevators, rolling mills, ship rudder shafts, and aggregate crushers, among others. SKF manufactures bearings, seals, and lubrication systems for automotive, OEM, energy, and other and industrial applications. The company, founded in 1907, is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, and meets International Organization for Standardization (ISO) TS 16949 and 9001 standards for quality assurance.
