The High Drain Loop Bracket was invented by a licensed home inspector. Dirty, smelly water backing up into dishwashers is a problem that he sees over and over again when inspecting homes. Most municipal building codes require a high drain loop to address this problem. The High Drain Loop Bracket is a simple, fast solution to prevent disgusting water from backing up into the dishwasher. Will work with most dishwashers that use a 1/2" or 5/8" drain hose. Measurement is based on the inside diameter of the hose.
